brasil nuts
i'm a bit worried about brasil.
for a start, chile's climate is great. it gets pretty hot during the day, but when it gets dark the temperature drops nicely and it becomes cool. sleeping is easy. apparently not so in brasil; a brasilian girl i met the other day suggested that it was 30 during the day... and 30 during the night. i hate hot overbearing nights.. can't sleep.
the other thing is street crime. the girl was adamant that it was pretty dangerous to go to Rio at carnaval time because of the stark poverty and the opportunistic street crime that happens because of the influx of tourists. and of course Aga was mugged when she went for a week in December. and she's pretty tall :)
so i have developed a strategy to counter this threat. lets call it the 'war on minor worries'. anyway, at least i have a strategy, hey mr bush?
1. follow groups of american tourists everywhere, even on the donut shop crawl
2. wear brasil football shirt
3. put on 8 stones worth of muscles overnight
if anyone would care to create a photoshop mock up of my new appearance, then i will be very ungrateful.

its going well, its great here. its soooo hot though. its a shame i won't see you when you finally make it back to london :( but have a great time and don't forget to give aga 'the bumps' (ask danni... ;) )
